Can you forward text messages from a AT&T iPhone to another cell phone?

The title pretty much says it all. I'd like to receive SMS messages sent to my work phone to show up on my personal cell phone. Thanks.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

yes you can forward text messaged from your work phone to your personal. BUT check with work first some things are confidential and are not allowed to be sent to personal phones or computers.

In my case anything I get from work is not allowed to be forwarded without prior written consent from  my manager.

Thanks Edward. The permission piece is no issue. But how do I accomplish the forwarding? I know how to forward the calls but that doesn't seem to affect SMS/text messages.

You need some app to do the work for you. Natively, forwarding is not an option. Try the MySMS and MySMS Mirror apps from the App or Play Store. Install MySMS on the main phone, and MySMS Mirror on the "forwarded" phone.

From my IPhone I just open the message click on the text to be forwarded wait for another menu, click more.... an arrow appears on the bottom of the screen and I click that, then I can forward it.

With my Android, I do the same thing but a menu appears with many options and I select forward from there.
