how can I highlight and copy blocks of text within a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

I am wondering if there is a way I can highlight blocks of text within a PDF file within Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, copy it, and paste it into MS Word 2013.  When I open up a PDF file and go to File, then, Save As and select Word Document (*.docx), I am able to open it for editing within MS Word 2013.  Unfortunately, some of the original content gets changed around and needs correction.  I wonder if it would have made much of a difference to have selected Word 97-2003 document (*.doc).

Any suggestions regarding any work around solutions to this concern will be deeply appreciated.

          Thank you

          George

Hello and Good Evening Joe,

Thank you very much for your attention and detail given to my question.  While I have not checked out all of the links yet, I certainly plan on doing so and reporting back with any concerns, questions and shared thoughts.
Within a previously closed post which reflected my interest in aligning skewed or crooked lines of text within a PDF file using Adobe Acrobat Professional XI,  this question was also answered within your excellent, self-created video.   I certainly have to give your video a 5 star rating Joe : - )  Excellent job!!!!

Take care and have a great night.

Thanks for the kind words! You have great night, too. Regards, Joe
