PowerPoint slideshow posting issue.
I have a PowerPoint presentation that I want to post on our webstie as a slideshow, so first I changed the file extension from .pptx to .ppsx. I then tested it by opening it; it opened in Slideshow mode.
So then I posted it. But when you open it from the website it always opens in Normal (read-only) mode, not Slideshow mode.
I'm beginning to think its not possible to have a PowerPoint presentation open in slideshow mode if you open it online. is that correct?

The easiest thing to do id to post it on slideshare.net. You can set all kinds of restrictions once the ppt is uploaded. (like no downloading or only with password, or an obfuscated URL. You can also denote the licensing and who can see it - by group type, like only those with the link.)

Slideshare also let's you do that, if you wish.
If you've got an Office 365 subscription you can publish to your OneDrive and then get the embed code to publish your presentation in slide show view within a web page. I have an example page that uses this technique here:

The first instance uses PowerPoint Online and the second is a flash conversion using iSpring.
