Our Sonicwall is blocking access to Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App

Hi Everyone,

The company SonicWall NSA 220 is preventing our graphics department from installing Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop software. The software install hangs.

But, if I log into my Sonicwall and turn-off "Gateway Anti-Virus" then the Adobe download proceeds and installation will complete.

On the Adobe support page it states I must "Configure your corporate firewall to bypass the Adobe servers. "

I do not for the life of me know how to proceed. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Steve

Do you really mean turn off  "Gateway Anti-Virus" and not Content Filter?

Typically Content Filter is the issue. If you have to disable Gateway Anit-Virus then it implies there is a virus somewhere in the downoad.

Yep, I do mean turn off "Gateway Anti-Virus (GAV)". Leave it on and Adobe Creative Closud will neither Install or Update itself if already installed.

Turn GAV "off" and Adobe CC is able to stream from it's update servers.

Weird!

Thanks for you help. This just recently happened to me with a NSA220 as well. There was one IP left out and it was being blocked as a  MalAgent.I_7960 (Trojan)  going to IP:        64.86.132.146 . I added that IP to exclusions and Adobe CC is installing.
