SSRS 2014 - This page cannot be displayed
I have a brand new Windows Server 2012 R2 image where I installed SQL Server 2014 with SP 1 and selected SSRS Native to be configured as part of the install. I am logged into Windows as the local built-in administrator. When I go to the Reporting Services Configuration Manager everything looks fine. When I try to go to either the Web Service URL or the Report Manager URL, I get 'This page can't be displayed'. No other error anywhere, nothing that I can see in SQL Server error logs or the Windows Event Viewer. I've installed SQL and SSRS dozens of times with no issues before...I feel like I am missing something small, but I cannot figure out what the problem is.
Thanks,
Victoria

Hi Nakul,
Thanks for your comments. Yes, SQL Server is running properly. This is the only install of SQL and SSRS on this machine. I have made sure all Windows updates are installed and restarted the computer, no changes.

Take a look at IIS to make sure it is not stopped and make sure it is up and running.
Hope that helps...

Hi SneekCo,
Thanks for your comment. Why would IIS be needed? There is no IIS on this or any other computers I have with SSRS running.

In SSRS reports and pages are served through IIS.

Hi SneekCo,
Here are some links that disagree with what you're saying including one from Technet:

Bottom line, the pages are served, optionally with IIS or with http.sys, (the no IIS alternative). One of those are not working correctly. I have always used IIS because it is more configurable and I don't have to depend on SSRS configuration wizard, but if no full IIS will work for you, go for it.
Good luck

Glad you got it fixed. Have a good one...

Found workaround internally
I have seen the issue in case one has a higher version of SSRS deployed. In that case, the system appears to be referencing an incorrect version of Sharepoint assemblies causing the failure of the Reporting Services Manager webpage to launch.
