iPhone 6 battery level indicator says 16% and jumps to 60% as soon as it's plugged in
iPhone 6, with latest iOS installed - 9.3.1
When phone is in use, not connected to charger, all is OK until the indicator shows about 60% battery, the nit will suddenly drop to about 15%. If we plug it into a charger it immediately goes back to 60%. We assume that the 15% is a false reading.
We have already done a reset and restore. The tech at the Genius Bar suggested a DFU restore, which seems a bit risky.
Will a DFU help with this? Is there any other suggestion that might fix the problem?
Thanks.
