Logging pfSense on Kiwi
I am wanting to log everything from my pfSense to my Kiwi Syslog, but it doesn't look like anything is coming through. I also have a Cisco router that I wanted logging sent to the Kiwi Syslog and it, too, is not showing up.
On my Cisco I have: logging host 192.168.0.4 and logging buffered
On my pfSense I have: Send log to remote server, pointing to 192.168.0.4 and Everything selected to send to remote syslog server.

Alright, I needed a static route because pfSense was outside my Cisco router. I put that in and I am now getting information. Now, what do I track on Cisco router Best Practice?
I would ensure that you at least log at the syslog informational level to receive a wealth of error conditions as well as device/network health information. You will need to learn how to parse that data for critical messages that alert you and your staff on your infrastructure as well as excluding infromation that is not needed.
This is really another question,
