asked on
*67 prefix before phone number as caller id block
I am calling a corporation and asking to be granted what corporation refers to as a
'one time exception'
If corporate officer sees my number in callerID, then types into computer or if content managment system automatically returns information about my phone number;
corporation will see that I have already been granted a
'one time exception'
I know there is caller id number spoofing (changing caller id)
or other methods to hide phone number, or calling from a computer voip
I am not looking to make a career out of this, I just want to do it twice.
But I am asking about simple easy to type '*67'
I only care about time of call.
This is not me asking to be totally anonymous
This is more of an information question because i heard (not saw an article) that banks can see through *67 number block
And if a bank can see through; then any large corporation can also
I am not looking to install software so I to can see all the junk calls that call me with a blocked phone number
This question is very narrow in scope.
Please provide me with information that *67 only works against regular people like me and is not effective on corporations.
