How to set a shared Google doc to allow others to edit as "suggestions"
I've got a Google Doc where I'd like to set its sharing permission to a "suggestion" mode. I see sharing options for "can view", "can comment", and "can edit" and I know that when editing there's a "suggestion" mode that a user can select.
However, I don't want them to be able to choose the full edit mode, I want all their changes to clearly show up as suggestions. Any idea how to force only that level of permission?

Yeah, that's what it does. And I agree, it's a bad user experience for the one who shares the file, they could be more clear about it.

Seems like the labeling on that could be a bit better...
