I have a single Ec2 instance on a VPC with an elastic IP which I host a web application on. It runs on Windows sever 2012. I remote desktop to the server to manage it.<br />
<br />
I recently setup a customer gateway, a virtual private gateway and a VPN to the VPC my host runs on from our corporate network using the following guide <a href="http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonVPC/latest/UserGuide/VPC_VPN.html#delete-vpn" rel="ugc">http://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonVPC/latest/UserGuide/VPC_VPN.html#delete-vpn</a><br />

I passed the config file it generated over to our network team but I soon realised the connection over the external/elastic IP went down. I can no longer ping, RDP or access the web application.<br />

I've reversed the changes by deleting the customer gateway, virtual private gateway and VPN but the connection has not come back up.<br />
I cannot seem to figure out how to get this back up and running again.<br />

Amazon Web Services (AWS), is a collection of remote computing services, also called web services, that make up a cloud-computing platform  operated from 11 geographical regions across the world. The most central and well-known of these services include Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, also known as "EC2", and Amazon Simple Storage Service, also known as "S3".
