Indexing and searching a network drive?
Hi all,
I have a bunch of PDF files on my *local* drive that have been OCR'ed. In Windows 7 Explorer, I can search for file names, phrases within the contents of the PDF files, etc. No problem there.
The same types of files reside on a network server folder, and I have specified that I want the files in this location indexed. However, searching for phrases within the contents of theses files yields nothing?
What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

It looks like the procedure is similar for both 2008 and 2012. I will try it and report back.
