Microsoft RDP Client on Windows 10 Pro Disconnects Shortly After Getting Connected
I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone has some suggestions before pursuing the nuclear option of an OS re-install. We have a client using Cisco Any-Connect to establish a VPN connection to their Cloud host environment and once that is established they use the Microsoft RDP to connect to production RD Servers.
We have a single troublesome Windows 10 Pro computer that is able to run through all of the connection steps(connecting the VPN using Cisco Any-Connect, launching RDP and authenticating, logging into the RD server completely) but about a minute after the RDP session is established the RDP client on the Windows 10 Pro computer just crashes. We have downloaded and installed the the most current RDP client applied all Windows updates and still the RDP client crash happens without fail. We are leaning towards the nuclear option but wanted to see if anyone had some suggestions that might be worth investigating before taking that step. As always all help is greatly appreciated.
