how long can I leave funds in my PayPal account?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

I received some PayPal funds today and wish to let it build up before transferring it to my checking account which brings me to the crux of this upcoming question. How long can I leave PayPal funds in my checking account before transferring it over to my checking account? Is there an expiration date which must be met? Do I ever risk loosing my PayPal funds if they are left in there for an extended period of time?

Any shared thoughts or insights to this question will be appreciated.

Hello and Good Evening John and Joe,

Thank you for answering my question. While being logged into my PayPal account, I decided to simply go ahead and transfer all of my funds to my checking account. There was not any real reason to let it build up. Instead, it was a topic which spun out of curiosity.
