remove randomware
my windows 7 laptop just got hit by a randaomeware.
-All my files became .crypt Crypt files.
-the windows wallpaper showed the attched pic. and the internet explorer showed the same information.
I do not have a recent backup of my files. How can i remove the randsomeware and restore all the files?

didn't manage to restore my files. reformatted my laptop. lesson learnt to do multiple backups.
Having said that, the link in that screenshot mentions the Tor project, and there were some vulnerabilities found in its encryption. More info here.
