asked on

what is the clinical significance of marginally high creatinine?

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

Upon a review of her lab results, my girlfriend noticed her creatinine is marginally high at 1.3mg.  The acceptable range is 0.5 to 1.2mg.  Given that information, is this marginally high reading for creatinine cause for alarm or concern?

            Thank you

            George

Hello and Good Evening Everyone,

Thank you for your follow up feedback given in response to my question.  Everyone's shared insights and opinions certainly does make sense.  My girlfriend does have a follow up visit with her doctor in about 2 weeks.  Her doctor wants to do another blood test.  Hopefully, everything will be alright.
