Reserving multiple IP addresses on Cisco 3800 Series router.

I need to configure a Cisco 3800 series router to issue a few reserved IP addresses to a list of devices. I've created a separate DHCP pool, added HOST <desired IP address>, then added its MAC address using the HARDWARE-ADDRESS command. I've noticed the following. The client that needs to use this address is not receiving the address I've assigned and when I attempt to add another ip address and MAC address to the same DHCP pool, it replaces the IP address and MAC address I've entered.

Cisco 3800 Series
IOS Version 12.4

Thank you for your time.

Have you checked your routes to/from the DHCP Pools ?

Issue resolved. I created another DHCP pool, assigned the desired IP address for the host and configured a client identifier. I obtained the client identifier by allowing the host to obtain an address from our general DHCP pool. I checked the bindings and noticed the MAC address had 2 additional characters at the beginning of the MAC address. I'm guessing it's some sort of client ID. I enter the same MAC address into the new pool and the host obtain the desired address. Thank you for your time.
