Using O365 as a DR Solution

HI,
Just to Clarify, I am talking about using an on premise exchange 2013 server as the primary and O365 as the failover should a DR situation happen.

Situation,
We have O365 licenses and an O365 tenancy and Exchange online is an option for us, but....
Our parent company has decided we are not allowed to use exchange online for having our mailboxes.
Not ideal, but the same licenses cover us for on-prem usage anyway, licenses sorted (a little while overdue:()

We are planning on running the on-prem server in hybrid mode with o365 and spool our incoming email through o365.

Should a disaster happen (I live in a country and city where a natural disaster is when it s going to happen not if) does anyone know of a way we can utilise our o365 exchange to work as failover?
Can we set up DAG to o365?
Anything else you might be using that could help me out with this investigation?

Thanks
