Hi<br />
Im trying to do a star field view for my Java game that has a few dozen stars fixed in 3D space.<br />
How should I represent my star field?<br />
What is the best way to draw them all on to a JFrame, in a 3D view?<br />

Im thinking that the eclipse equations <br />
are useful from <a href="http://math.stackexchange.com/questions/22064/calculating-a-point-that-lies-on-an-ellipse-given-an-angle" rel="ugc">here</a><br />

x = a cos Theta<br />
and <br />
y = b sin Theta <br />

Would be useful. I have them with height and radius positioning now. - Stars around a central column?<br />
