Trying to get a particular mysql database functioning with an old app
I have an old application that uses MySQL 4.1.1 as the database. It hasn't been used for many years as it is pretty redundant, and when I ran it today the old server drives were dead. I have a backup of the mysql "data" folder, but not mysql itself. I would like to get the app going again.
Currently the best I can find on the web is MySQL 4.1.22 to download. Anyone know if there is a version 4.1.1 floating around somewhere that I can download?
I know very little about mysql. Is there anything else I would require, or could I just find 4.1.1, install it, and then overwrite the data folder with the backed up version to get it working again? I am asking this question from a pretty ignorant perspective, so hopefully I can get some guidance.
