Outlook sending on behalf incorrectly
One user has Outlook 2010, they had an imap account for example imap@domain1.com
I then added an exchange account to the outlook profile and this account is exchange@domain2.com
Now when I try and send from imap@domain1.com it sends the email as:
EMAIL 1 <imap@domain1.com >; on behalf of; EMAIL 2 <exchange@domain2.com>
However when I send from exchange@domain2.com it is sent by exchange@domain2.com
I never setup send on behalf of that way. Usually the email boxes are on the same domain. Maybe another expert can chime in here.
How do you have this setup? Do you have 2 outlook profiles?

Both mailboxes are different domains same provider.
They are both in the same outlook profile.
They are both in the same outlook profile.
When I set this up I usually go to File, Account Settings, Account Settings, When the box appears I highlight the current mailbox, click change, more settings and add the other mailbox there. Is that how you did it?

Yes sounds familiar

I'm not trying to setup send on behalf of, it has just done it on its own, that is the problem I want the email addresses to work independantly
OK, then you have to use separate Outlook profiles for that. When the person opens Outlook you can have it prompt for which profile you want them to use. If you add a mailbox to one profile you will have the send on behalf of option. Unless some other expert chimes in otherwise I don't think it will work separately under the same profile.
