Some Workstations cannot connect to RDS over VPN

Hi All,
I'm stumped.

I have a new 2012 R2 RDS server.  Connections using RDP or RemoteApps works perfectly on the LAN.  Every time.
I have two point to point VPN tunnels and I would like machines on the remote networks to connect to the RDS.  My laptop which was configured during testing connects without problem from either VPN.  All other networking seems to be working fine over the VPN.  At each location, I have machines that will connect and others that will not, using either method.

When you try to connect using an RDP session you get a black screen with a cursor. Trying to use RDWeb for the remote apps, mostly, you cannot even get to the login screen of the RDWEB page. If you do, on some, remote apps just hang .

Have tried different users both remotely and locally and it is not a user issue.

Try connecting via RDP over the VPN using an IP Address and see if that allows you to make the connection.

Make sure the subnets at both ends of the VPN allow the entire range at both ends and are not set for a single IP address.

By IP does not work either.  I can ping anything in either direction.
By IP address prevents any DNS issues.

Do you have firewall restrictions?  That is another thing that may prevent connection.
The problem seems to move around.  I am starting to consider that it is limited to two logins (There are currently two users logged in, one from each location,  and I cannot get a third logged in) which would get me going down the licensing path, but, the RD licensing Diagnoser reports everything is OK.
If licensing is OK and you can ping the resource, then something is blocking the traffic. Look at networking and firewall.
I would also check your virus software. Many come with firewalls of their own which often time block traffic.
NO AV on the system yet.  I like to make sure things are working properly on new servers before I introduce that variable. :-)

I have looked high and low at networking and the Firewall...That's why I asked the question.

I just increased resources and applied hotfix KB2887595 as found on another site to fix the black screen problem and rebooted.  Things look promising, but I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to test.  It is after 5:00 here.

I will post an update.
We keep our servers up to date and do not experience this issue.

Please let us know after uninstalling the update and the resource change. No issue, though, with our servers.
