Windows explorer.exe replacement via Shell key
EE,
I have replaced the shell path for explorer.exe with another application "VMware Horizon Agent.exe" for make shift KIOSKs that I'm working on.
After my replacement application executes, it closes after it's finished doing what it's doing. I'd like to keep the window open at all times instead of bombing out. Sorta like the -k switch that keeps iexplorer open in KIOSK mode. I've tried -k and /k after my application with no luck. An example is below:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software \Microsoft \Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Shell value "VMware Horizon Client.exe" -k
I'm not sure what switches I can use to keep it open or any other tricks.
Thanks
