Backup and host a VM

I'm looking for a network device to backup my server and in case of a disaster host the server as a VM on the same device (altaro backup can restore a backup from a fiscal machine to a virtual and host it somewhere so within a hour the server is up and running)

I would recommend using HP Proliant DL120 Server and build it to act as a Backup/VM Server. I can recommend using Veeam Backup Software which will back up to repository on the Backup Server, and in case of the primary server failure, you can run the VM from the backup server.

Veeam guarantees that a restoration can be done within 30 minutes.

I use the same and the backups are blazing fast. Restoration is just as fast.

Thanks.

Datto looks to be a great product but thy do not offer pricing details online. need to be a partner which is not bad for a IT. But do not specify requirements to get a partner.

On Veeam there are a lot of complains in discussions in this exchange.
You could find a Datto reseller in your area if you aren't a service provider. From your profile it looks like you are so I would just call Datto to get the reseller information.

There is just a few training courses that will need done by one staff member and you are up and going.

The more you sell the cheaper the prices get.
Datto is a great Slution with all  bells and whistles but is not for a small business budget.

With what storagecraft offers in case of a deserter the backup can be converted to a virtual, a more economical Slution would be to have the NAS drive which is used for the backups should have the ability to host the virtual temporarily, is this a option?
Or if Datto could be shared my multiple clients.
