Balancing Columns in Word
To balance columns in word, I insert a continuous break, which works pretty good, but not totally exact. I understand that Word is not that good at doing this, but I'm a bit amazed that it's having trouble when all text is equally formatted. I end up with 2 extra lines on the left side of a two column page.
In my document, I've the table of contents in two columns, with equal amount of text lines in each column, yet Word insists on putting more lines (2 of them) on the left side, compared to the right side. All lines in the TOC are short enough to only fill one line.
Is it just not possible to get Word to balance them equally?
