Error in DHCP

We are getting the following error in our Domain Controller.

iashlpr initialization failed: The DHCP service was unable to access the path specified for the audit log.
, so DHCP server cannot talk to NPS Server. It could be that the IAS service is not started.

I have searched the Internet and found this error in Technet and it tells me to install:
-Network Policy and Access Services
-Network Policy Server
....https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc726931%28v=ws.10%29.aspx

Is this necessary to install or can I ignore the error?

Yes, you need to try and repair these services if you can.

Take a look at this article, it will give you a better idea as to what's going on

ASKER

I just asked a Colleague and he says that technically there is an NPS Server on our Network but it is on another server which is "not" a Domain Controller and we just need to re-point the DC to it.

It is running on our Wireless Server that controls all the wireless units.
Any thoughts on that?
