If I am looking for a home network storage solution, what is the best way to set this up and what considerations should I give. &nbsp;I thought by going for POE it might save on the need for a power outlet / plug and maybe it would be lower power consumption too, but from what you are saying, there will be some drawbacks too.

POE will save the need for one outlet, but it will seriously limit you on available devices. &nbsp;I'd stay away from it if there is any reasonable way to get power to wherever the device is located.

Network Management
