Biblical maps of Israel
Is there a map of Israel where one can click on a city and see the verses in the Bible where it is mentioned together with its modern name? What would be interesting is how it deals with multiple cities of the same name which changed name during biblical times eg Beis El becoming Beis Aven.
For example someone learning Samuel 1 may come across Samuelgoing to Gilgal. Clicking on Gilgal they would also see the verse in Joshua where he sets the stones up there.
Perhaps they were still there in Samuel’s time. Even if not, he would have known about them.
Is there a similar site that would be suitable for primary school children (age 4-11)?
