Cisco RV325 IPsec VPN Client Software

I bought a Cisco RV325 for a client because in the sales information, it said it can sustain 30 IPsec VPN tunnels.

I have searched and searched for a client software to install on the remote laptops but have been unsuccessful.
No software came with the router. When I go to Cisco site, looking for the Cisco Mobile VPN client v 5.# I find out it has been discontinued and replaced with a software called Anyconnect.

To download Anyconnect, you have to have an Anyconnect Plus or Apex license.

When I asked about the license, they told me you couldn't use it on an RV series router.

I called Cisco and they almost acted like what I was asking for they had never heard of. I have an open pending case with them but no solution so far.

So what can I use? I thought the Cisco software was supposed to be included.

Can anyone help??

According to the product sheet, it supports 25 IPsec and 10 SSL remote access vpns.
Here is the guide how to setup remote access VPN:
https://supportforums.cisco.com/video/12310566/rv320-and-rv325-ssl-vpn-client-configuration

I think after you set up SSL, go to the link and login, it will prompt you to download the software.
It also suggests in the product sheet to try to use different IPsec vpn clients.

IP Security (IPsec)
●  25 IPsec site-to-site tunnels for branch office connectivity
●  25 IPsec VPN tunnels via Cisco VPN client and third-party clients such as “TheGreenBow” for remote accessVPN connectivity
Hi There,

The above post by SIM50 would be the easiest way to configure a web-based VPN/SSL/Anyconnect VPN and would actually address the concern regarding the end Of life support for Cisco VPN client 5.x.

However, if you still want to use Remote access VPN (IP sec VPN tunnel) considering the increase in number available tunnels as compared to SSL VPN , you could use Greenbow (third party software) instead of Cisco VPN client.

You could refer the latter half of the below video for the configuration changes to be done on the router for remote VPN config using Greenbow client:

The choice depends entirely on you...

I looked into Greenbow. It would've cost $1800 per year for the 30 tunnels that are allowed.

I appreciate the info from Sim but upon logging into the firewall, I have yet to find anywhere to download the IPsec software. Maybe I just haven't looked in the right place.
