most inkjet printers have a external powersupply, often called a brick, because it is shaped and is heavy like a brick. With the external powersupply often there is a little led showing that you have power if the led is not lit up unplug it from the printer does the led light up now? if not make sure the power cord is well seated into the brick it may of become loose, also check the other end of the power cord is it plugged into the wall or a power bar? Make sure that is seated into the outlet properly. If it is plugged into a powerbar, make sure the power bar is turned on. if the power brick led is lit when it is not plugged into the printer and then the led turns off when you plug it back into the printer, the printer or the power brick is defective.
