Visual Land Premiere tablet will not stay connected to internet
Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,
I wish to help my girl friend with a problem she is having with a Visual Land Premiere tablet which I purchased from Amazon. A full description of this tablet can be found at http://www.amazon.com/Visual-Land-Premier-Windows-Tablet/dp/B010XRE6HW?SubscriptionId=AKIAIQWHH4HRPK7LRQTQ&camp=2025&creative=165953&creativeASIN=B010XRE6HW&linkCode=xm2&tag=c99-bd-20&ascsubtag=64d758bb0c00-41f6-adb4-2afc78f9c472 While the tablet will connect to the internet, it will not stay connected. My wireless laptop that I use on a daily basis is connecting just fine to my wireless AT&T setup. As such, I doubt very seriously the problem originates with the wireless setup.
Any tips or suggestions for resolving the tablet's inability to stay connected to the internet will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
George

Hi John
I do not see a Power Management tab for the wireless which I find odd. Also, there is an option within Control Panel with the title of Power Options, but, not Power Management. Upon a close visual, I did not notice any options for customizing the wireless settings.

Hello and Good Evening John,
Thank you so very much for your follow ups. I especially appreciate your use of the graphical illustration to help capture the steps for determining and changing power management settings.
With respect to the actual disconnection concern, I am afraid that I misunderstood what was actually going on. Basically, when my girlfriend was talking about disconnection, she was meaning Facebook disconnections. For example, she was able to surf all of her regular sites without disconnection issues. However, she was disconnected from Facebook each time she would try to review a feed. Apparently, there were some technical glitches going on with Facebook at that time.
In closing, I apologize for the confusion here John. You certainly did answer my question based upon my original description of the situation.
Have a great rest of the evening : - )

Thank you for your suggestion. Could you outline the steps necessary for accessing the power management properties of the wireless card so I can turn it on? The operating system is Windows 8.1.
