They log into our server and use our software
Details are important in this case.  Is there a known way to break into your server?  Can the users upload files that can be run?  That of course applies to all OS's.  Do their computers have current anti-virus protection?  I use Avast on most of my computers.  Are you using anti-virus on the server to protect it?

Andreas  thank you.

They are login to the Server which has Special security group policy but again XP does not have any security updates :(

Yes we have 2 layers of security, firewall and on the server running  Malwerbytes and trend.
A firewall will not protect you against malicious use of the accounts that were stolen on  compromised machines. The attacker may relay his traffic through the compromised PC, so your firewall will only see the IP of your employee, even the4 attacker logs in to your server.

An Anti Virus/Anti Malware will not protect you against new malware or actions the attacker doing manually with your things on the server (e.g. steal them, delete or alter some data, etc.)

AV and firewall will help making your network more secure, but they cannot block all issues.
While you should probably encourage your XP users to upgrade, Andreas's comments apply to all operating systems, not just XP.
