Play wma file in browser in Windows 10

We have a couple clients that use a website that plays sounds (activeaero.com). The audio is a WMA file. Prior to upgrading to Windows 10, the sound would play using the Windows Media plugin. Now, when the sound is activated, the WMA file is downloaded instead of played. I can't find anywhere how to get this to play in the browser or via the plugin like it used to. Suggestions?

Please be aware that the default browser in Windows 10 is no longer Internet Explorer, but Edge.

Edge is a 'bare-bones' browser and really can't do much except open Internet sites.

Setting the default browser to Internet Explorer should solve this problem.

Loading WMP and the associated plugin is what worked.
