Disable USB Thumb Drives

Hello,
I run a two DC Windows 2012 R2 STD environment with group policy.
Our company has just implemented (finally) my I.T. security policy.   Which covers Thumb Drives.
I'm tired of people bringing in personal thumb drives that have torrent downloads, viruses, etc. on them.

I have done my reading and reach on how to disable thumb drives via group policy.
However, I cannot find a good article that tells me how to allow certain USB drives.   Currently I have purchased several thumb drives and obtained the serial number from them using Nirsoft's USBVIEW.
I'd like to know how to allow these "corporate thumb drives" while denying others.
BTW, we have Windows 7, 8.1, and 10 as clients in our environment.

Please advise
Thank you
-MG

btan, how did you manage to distribute 1000 points instead of 500? Did I miss anything?

Today I saw many notification and they are tagged as 1000, I am  not sure if there are any changes either.
Advice given.
