can I make a VM out of my disk encrypted windows laptop?
I have a windows laptop that uses (I think) some symantec software to encrypt the drive. Drive encryption follows my windows password changes. Anyway.... can I make a VM from this? I still want to run primary on the laptop itself... but would be nice to know if I could snapshot and run in VM in a pinch.
Question 2 how much overhead does VMware workstation put on a machine... is it noticable... I like my performance... like Dragon Naturally Speaking... Functions way better with lots of ram and SSD's... I wonder if I make my main PC vmware if that app will suffer...
