snapshot of lead status on a daily basis

I would like understand does any of the CRM applications will "snapshot" of the status of all the Leads on a daily basis of each of the sales user, yes, I am aware of daily reports scheduling but does any CRM application has a provision/functionality such that we can fetch this as a report or in any other form. It important for us to know on any given day what was the lead status, this will enable us to understand users efforts on that particular day, now that what is happening is over the period of days lead status changes but we are limited to know only on day to day basis please suggest ,our requirement is to know the lead status of every day of sales user on any particular back dated, please suggest is this a functionality of CRM and name the CRM products that supports this or do let us know none does this. and how can we get this please suggest. thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply, I would like to know if any CRM application by itself will have this functionality, that is To have a "snapshot" of the status of all the Leads on a daily basis . I am aware this can be achieved by report scheduling so that the report is sent via email for our reference at a later point in time.
every day leads count and its status. Lead Status=(New, Inprogress, Sale closed,) At present the challenge is we can get only the status of the lead that is in the present condition our requirement on any given day what was the lead status. please suggest does any CRM applications like, sales force, ms dynamics or SAP have this functionality. thanks in advance.

not sure about others but salesforces does have the lead reports.

I think I am not making it clear, i am aware there are leads report but I am interested to know the "snapshot" of the status of all the Leads on a daily basis to be viewed on later in point in time, for example if i want to get the details of the sales user lead status on back dated for example 20 days back, is this possible.
