Using SNMP OID's query ephemeral ports open - what is the OID to report on OPEN ephemeral ports ?

I have an SNMP query on the SNMP OID (1.3.6.1.2.1.6.9) looking at "tcpCurrEstab"  - but would like to query the number of Open ephemeral ports that are open as I am having issue with a web site refusing to service any more logins and want to confirm there is no TCP port issue . I can see from the OID i am interrogating that the number of TCP ports used are not touching the limits but, some people say it may be the numbe rof ephemeral ports that are the issue. So would be great to be able to monitor this andand or report the limit and if we are exceed ing this ?

Have you tried 1.3.6.1.2.1.6.20 (tcpListenerTable)?

However have you check the configuration of your web server to verify it is not limiting the number of concurrent users?

Typically ephemeral have nothing to do with limiting users connecting to your server.  The exception would be if your server needs to connect to another service.
