Verizon T1 sticker shock pricing? $1,500 / month?
We're paying $3,000 / month for two T1' (PRI)s.
Our telephone vendor says we're getting ripped off as it should be closer to $1,000 / month total for the two T1's.
Question:
What do you think is reasonable (assume no fancy super-dooper special discounts)?
We are a small/medium sized company (150 employees) in New Jersey
Thanks,
Mike

Is this for phones and data?
If you can get business class cable ,you can cut your your bills dramatically and get faster and better.
I have a customer that is stuck on a fractional T for phones for another year or two contract, but for data is using Comcast biz with 250 down and 20 up for about $200/mo plus they get two analog phone lines and a block of 16 static IP's.
Once they are off their contract ,I'm going over to VOIP and SIP which should cut their costs even more.

Thanks everyone. I have a call into our verizon rep. These are PRI / phone.
Ultimately, we're interested in cloud based VOIP and with the high fees we are presently paying, it is very justifiable.
Thx

It's not as bad as I thought: basically like $1,000 per T1 (we have 4). Nonetheless, we still want to go cloud voip and ditch the super old analog phone system here, and the 3 year old on premise cicsco voip at another location.
Thanks again everyone!
