Connecting iPhone 6 to matrix fitness treadmill
Hi experts,
At my gym they have some treadmills from www.matrixfitness.com
The treadmill is similar to this one, notice how below the monitor it had a usb connection and also an older iphone (not the lightning bolt) connection.

The treadmill at my gym is an older matrix fitness model than the one shown in the picture above. The model at my gym has the same usb and older iPhone connection but the display seems to just be a monitor that plays whatever you plug into either of these ports.
I have an iPhone 6 which uses the lightning bolt connection.
I have 2 questions.
Question #1
Have any of you hooked up your smartphone to a treadmill similar to this that had these types of connections? If so what type of smartphone was it?
Question #2
Any of you know how I could hook up my iPhone 6 or any iphone with lightning bolt to this treadmill?
Like could I just by an adapter that converts the Lightning bolt to the older iPhone connection? Have any of you hooked up your iPhone to such a treadmill and if so does it play whatever is on your screen like the youtube app or only certain things?
