Windows DNS Debug Log question.

I need to decommission an old Windows 2008 DNS server.  I have configured all my domain servers to use another DNS server.  But for some reason, when I check my DNS Debug log on the old server, I still see a computer has below activities.

Can someone please intepret the lines and advise if it there is a potential issue when shut down the old server?

Thanks

Hi,

Is the DNS server was acted as DC? the proper way would be performing metadata cleanup then this will remove all the reference from AD and each DNS zones. Once that's completed you can remove DNS roles.

Thanks.

Do you know what do the above lines telling me in the log file?
Hi,

It looks to me like the Resource record send and receive packets to 10.3.18.165 (db1a  must be your database server?).

I don't see any error in it.
