Find Hardware errors on HP Desktops and Notebooks

Hi

We must troubleshoot 20 HP Clients and got them from a customer. Most are different models. HP is not having a good diagnostic on-board as you can only run memory test and hard disk test. I also see that there is a HP Diagnostic CD.

http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00849402#AbT2

Has somebody having experience with it or HP Hardware Diagnostic Tools from Windows? We must have an official HP Diagnostic to prove that the Hardware is bad.

Many thanks in advance

@both
Will HP accept problems detected by memtest86+, UBCD, passmark and pc-doctor?

Well, if you use the UBCD and the hard disk manufacturer's util for the appropriate disk (Seagate util for Seagate hard disk, etc etc) and say to HP the manufacturer's util failed the hard disk will you accept it?
