Have you checked &nbsp;who is using the module by &quot;lsmod&quot; command? If it is being used then remove the user module first.<br />

I was able to figure it out.. basically lsmod was showing a Used By ==3. &nbsp;3 turned out to be a couple other processes that for whatever reason would not show up in TOP. &nbsp;Killing those allowed me to remove the module and reinstall the app.

Long story short I need to uninstall this old version of Acronis including the snapapi26 kernel module to install a slightly newer version. &nbsp;According to the instructions here: <a href="https://kb.acronis.com/content/15649" rel="ugc">https://kb.acronis.com/content/15649</a>&nbsp;I do not have an acronis_mms or acronis_agent... but only the acronis_schedule processes. &nbsp;<br />
Closing acronis_schedule does not allow me to remove snapapi..<br />
