Do the Avaya/Cisco phones reduce NW speed at work if connected to computer?

Do these Avaya/Cisco phones we all use at work reduce NW speed at work if connected to computer?  (Wall > phone > computer) If the wall is gb speed, will connecting the phone to computer slow your speed down?
Thank you,

Depends on the phone but most Phones out there are not Gig enabled yet.  If this is the case it would be the following

Computer >>>Phone (100Mbps)>>>wall 1000mbps = 100 Mbps to the computer no matter what.  If the phone is Gig it will be Gig to the desktop.

Is there a way to test if the phone is slowing the connection down?
Easiest way to see is if the port is connected at 1000 or 100.  or check the phone to see if the interface is labeled 1000/100/10 or 100/10.
I dont see any label indicating speed

the switch should indicate the negotiated port speed
The wall is gigabit.
There's no label on the phone
When the computer connects just check the status of the connection if it is 100 then the phone is a limiter.
where's the best place to check Cheever000?
You guys still there?
