Problem entering Passive Mode with FileZilla ftp Server

I setup a FileZilla Server with Passive Mode enabled.  I entered a range of ports and left the IPv4 specific setting to "Default".  When I test the ftp server via https://ftptest.net, I get the error "Server returned unroutable private IP address in PASV reply".  How can I fix this?

Please check physical firewall for any rules blocking the incoming connection for FileZilla ftp Server.

Do you manage the firewall between the net and filezilla server?

ASKER

The firewall is turned off on the filezilla server and I have port forwarding setup on the router for both the listening port and the passive mode port range.
I had a similar issue, it happened to be a rule at the gateway side; it the embedded firewall/iptables
Check your gateway for potential issues

I changed the IP4 specific setting from "Default" to "Use the following IP" and entered the public IP of the gateway.  After making this change the test from  https://ftptest.net succeeded!  I'll try sending a file to the ftp site tonight when I'm not on the same LAN as the ftp server before I close this post, but it looks like it will work.
Thanks.  That worked!
