Import E-Mail Addresses into an Outlook E-Mail Message
Hello:
We have a boilerplate e-mail message that we want to send to all of our customers. Their e-mail addresses are stored in a software application.
Please correct me, if I'm wrong. But, if we simply export the e-mail addresses to a Microsoft file such as an Excel spreadsheet or Word document, can we use an import "tool" in Outlook to import those e-mail addresses into a single e-mail message?
Thanks!

You can only bring them directly into an email message onto the "To" line by using a "copy/paste" type of operation. You can, however, import them into your contacts list in Outlook and then use them. From that point on, you can use them individually or, if you're going to send emails to the list on a regular basis, create a personal distribution list in Outlook and use that to send the emails.

Thanks, hypercat!
Do you know of the steps that would be used to import e-mail addresses into an Outlook distribution list?
