10 GBPS switch for storage

My office network has brocade 6610 stack most of the 10 gbps ports are already in use for virtual and storage on 6610. I am planning to setup archive storage for video where single file sometime size up to 1 tb. For video department our lacie 48 TB storage filled up in a year. Most of lacie and G drive solution are accessible from thunderbolt.
I am trying to find efficient storage that could accessed by all 5 users in video studio. Users in video studio do not do heavy external browsing and they are fine with wireless internet.
To achieve centralized storage I am planning to deploy separate  10 GBPS port Ethernet switch which I would use to aggregate speed with couple of synology DAS 2015 and used for long term slower archive. To get best speed from MAC I would use thunderbolt to ethernet cable to get thunderbolt speed on all MACPRO can and connect them all with CAT 6 10 GBPS Ethernet to 10 GBPS switch that is only connected to LAN connecting 5 mac on video studio.

What would be the best 10 GBPS ethernet port for this? Would I be able to achieve this with Cat 6 or net SFP, although CAT 6 would be more easy to convert to thunderbolt.
What are the most cost effective 10 or +20 GBPS storage solution for long term. I should be able tranfer 1 TB in 10 mins, if 5 or 10 gbps works successfully for transfer
