Intel Server not recognizing SAS RAID module

Hope someone can enlighten me on what's going on. I have an Intel S2600GZ Server, in which I am attempting to install an Intel RAID Module "RMS3CC080". I upgraded the BIOS, ME Firmware, BMC Firmware, and the FRUSDR. I followed the RAID instruction; which are pretty straight forward. When I start it up the RAID controller is obviously going through a HD sequence of sorts. It does not show the RAID controller in the BIOS, and does not give the Ctrl C option either.

Not sure what's going on, but could sure use some input...

Thanks

If you don't see it as an option in the BIOS as a "Bott To" and don't see the CTRL=C sequence it almost sounds like the is not seated properly. When you go in to the BIOS turn off the "Quiet Boot" so it display everything that is going on during the bootup sequence.

Not a lot of possibilities ..
1. Wrong part number in box  (doubtful, but check)
2. Bad connection or broken pins on motherboard (possible)
3. Controller arrived DOA (probable)

If it didn't arrive factory fresh and sealed, I say you got a bad one.
Yeah dlethe, I did wonder if it was DOA... I hate those phone calls to tech support Lol

I don't think it's compatible. you can find compatible raid controllers here
