I have a database field embedded in to a text field. <br />
I have added a formula to the Font &gt;&nbsp;Text formatting. It is functioning but it does not show this conditional formula when I return to edit that formula again.<br />

The formula is simple. &nbsp;If {field} = 'value' then 6 else 8<br />

It's great that it is functioning but is not great when I return to possibly add another value to the formula. It also appears like I don't have any conditional formatting in that field when I actually do, which is not good when trying to research things at a later date.<br />

I have attached a screenshot of the &quot;before&quot; and &quot;after&quot;. I enter the formula, save it and then go back in and poof.... all gone (but still functioning).<br />

Is this because the field is embedded in a text box? If so, what other choices are there?<br />

Conditional formula for Font not saving - but is functioning.

Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application from SAP SE. It is used to graphically design data connections and report layouts from a wide range of data sources including Excel spreadsheets, Oracle, SQL Server databases and Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information. Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal's own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Crystal Reports also supports subreports, graphing, and a limited amount of GIS functionality.
