Domain login scripts not running on Windows 10 computers

Login scripts (I use .bat files) don't seem to run on Windows 10 workstations but it is hit and miss. For testing I have put a "pause" statement in these .bat files.

I have a 2012 R2 DC and a Windows 10 workstation. Logins scripts work

One of my customers has a 2012 DC. Login scripts do not work.

One of my customers has a 2008 DC. Login scripts do not work.

Of note**** I also(in ADUC) map a home folder and it is not being mapped either

You guys are going to love this one. This one particular customer has the office administrator doing IT. They got in a new Windows 10 Laptop yesterday and this person decided to give it a go and set it up. Well one of the first steps in the wizard is "Tell me who will be using this computer"? Set set it up with the exact same username AND password of the domain user even though what she was setting up was a local users. So there was a local users and a domain user with the exact same username and password. She calls and tells me she is done but for some reason the drive mapping aren't there.

It took me forever to figure it out not one assuming that she never joined the domain. The username was right, the password was right. This users just didn't have access to anything on the network. Then I saw another thread with the same problem that started a month ago and I just assumed it was a Windows 10 problem. Let me look at the last issue at another customer's and see if it is something simple there too.
