Linksys e2000 router
I want to connect my new wireless router into my production network (Internet port gets IP from production Network DHCP Server).
production Network has: Hardware Firewall(Internet and LAN Access) ESXi Servers ,Domain Controllers,File Servers, DHCP Server etc.
I just want to be sure before connect cable to the router. Can affect production Network?

but if i connect my production Network(from wall dose) to the WAN port then production Network DHCP adress 192.168.100.x and E2000 LAN IP 192.168.200.x , am i correct? and DHCP(192.168.200.100 - 192.168.200.150) and NAT configured on E2000.
if i connect my Laptop one of E2000 Switch port then Laptop gets 192.168.200.101.

production DHCP --> E2000 WAN port(192.168.100.x)-->E2000 LAN port (192.168.200.1)-->Laptop IP (192.168.200.101)
is it not correct?

I want to connect my new wireless router into my production network
but if i connect my production Network... to the WAN port
Connect the network to a LAN port (not WAN). Then your wireless router will be an extension of your network.
Give the wireless router a Static IP address on your network.
As noted above, turn DHCP OFF on the wireless router.
I hope this clarifies for you.

I think I clarified it for him John but thanks for the input. Do you think I could have explained it in a different manner? I thought it was pretty straight forward. If not, your input is always welcome.
@Member_2_7966275 - I used slightly different terminology than Lockdown but we are on the same page. I assumed in my post that you want this router on the main network.
That would have been my assumption too but what I decided to do was plainly lay out both options so he could make an intelligent decision. I and sure in a case like this it is better to see the whole picture rather then to assume.

i connected from wall dose to the WAN port and i have a second IP range on my Laptop also WLAN :))) cool Thanks .
Happy to assist. Glad you understood the difference.
1) You want to use a switch port on the E2000. Not the WAN port
2) You will need to turn off the DHCP Server on the E2000
at that point it should integrate in to the network fine. Just as a suggestion the E2000 is a Home wireless router. You might want to get a Business Access Point.
