Dell r630 SD card datastore esx

I have two dell R630 servers with a SD slot on the front.  ESX is installed on the IDSDM. I want to use the front SD slot as a data store for some ISO's and other things.  Is there any way to get ESX to see the front SD as a storage device.  I have not been able to get the esx to see it.
Thanks

ISOs needs to be on a supported datastore, e.g. iSCSI, FC or NFS, or Local Disk. USB flash drives and SD card are not supported as local disks, because or read and write lifetime.

Not supported by default unless you "HACK" your installation to support it.

Thanks for the reply.  I have one more question for some clarity.  The loghost directory is where logs are to be sent to the syslog server. The logdir is a local directory.  Even if i am using a Syslog server, logs for the local host are still saved to the logdir, correct? So i still need some NFS or something else.
yes, you need to set the logs to a local or shared NFS or iSCSI datastore.
